Top director Yograj Bhat's first home production has a new leading lady. After changing the story of the film he co-wrote with Pawan Kumar, Bhat felt the need to replace the heroine as he felt Haripriya would not suit the new role. After weeks of searching for a replacement, the director has decided to cast Nidhi Subbaiah.Bhat is also finalising the title for the film which has Diganth Manchale in the lead. This will be the fourth film in a row for Diganth with Yograj Bhat after Mungaru Male, Gaalipata and Manasaare. It was a tough time for Bhat to finalise the new leading lady for his film. He auditioned a dozen girls including many models. After hectic scouting about Nidhi was finalised for the role. Even on Wednesday there was speculation that another girl was being auditioned. But Bhat has confirmed that Nidhi will be the heroine of his film.
Nidhi made her debut with Vara and was seen in Chamkaisi Chindi Udaysi last year. Her film Krishna Nee Lateaagi Baa is pending.
