Aptha Rakshaka Review - Brilliant

Sandhya, Vishnuvardhan in Aptha RakshakaDr Vishnuvardhan's 200th film is a befitting parting gift he has left behind. This is a kind of film any movie buff would enjoy. Full credit to director P Vasu who has also written the story. Aptharakshaka is a sequel to Apthamitra, the film that created a sensation five years ago. The film starts with unnatural happenings in a large family home . An unnaturally big snake also haunts the house. The incidents begin with the arrival of an old painting of an ancient dancer, Nagavalli. Acharya (Avinash) who comes to solve the problem realises that he needs the help of his friend Dr Vijay (Vishnuvardhan) in this case.

While the Acharya sees the situation as a problem created by the ghost of Nagavalli, the psychiatrist Vijay tries to analyse the effects of the Nagavalli legend on the various members of the family. Unknown person now tries to kill the acharya and Vijay. The problem is compounded by the fact that three daughters in the family, Saraswathi (Lakshmi Gopalswamy), Geetha (Bhavana) and Gowri (Sandhya) show various signs of being affected.

Vijay now has to risk his life to save the girls and himself from not only the dead Nagavalli but also the king who is alive.
