Hatrick film director Shashank who had a big success in last year's release Krishnan Love Story is all set to direct Power Star Puneet Raj Kumar this year. Probably this film may start after Soori directed Anna Bond for Puneet's Home Production banner. The film is being produced by Sreenivasa Murthy and Suresh Gowda, the producer of Puneet's film Raaj that was released during 2009.
Confirming this news Sreenivasa Murthy said that no agreement has been signed so far and even an advance has not been given to Shashank.
"But we have already contacted Shashank to request him to direct a film starring Puneet Raj Kumar sir for us. He will be finishing shooting of Jarasandha and then start writing the script for us' says Murthy.
Since Puneet has to complete Paramathma to be directed by Yogaraj Bhat which is to start in the end of February or the first week of March and Anna Bond, Shashank has enough time to write the script.
Shashank who is busy preparing for the launch of Vijay starrer Jarasandha which is to be produced by Gangadhar, Basavaraju and Venkatesh also confirmed the news that he has got an opportunity to direct Appu who is certainly his favourite star.
"Suresh Gowda met me and has hinted me to write a very good script for the film. I have to take lot of interest in writing the story of this film which I want to make a memorable film in my career' says Shashank.
Meanwhile Shashank is quite happy about his music director Arjun who has composed fantastic songs for Jarasandha. Yogaraj Bhat, Jayanth Kaikini and Shashank himself has written the lyrics of the film.
