"Roar" is another certified anthem for Perry, after her last inspirational sing-alongs "Firework" and "Wide Awake."

"You held me down but I got up/ Already brushing off the dust" she sings, with the catchy chorus declaring "I am a champion/And you're gonna hear me roar."

Perry has been leading a Twitter campaign engaging her fans in a photo-sharing competition to see who can spot a huge gold truck bearing the Oct. 22 release date of her album as the vehicle travels around the country. On Friday, the singer's truck was involved in an accident as it moved through Pennsylvania. According to TMZ a drunk driver of another truck slammed into the front of Perry's vehicle, causing significant damage, but nobody was injured.

The pop star is not traveling with the truck. "The Prism semi is bumped and bruised but she is a champion!" Perry tweeted Friday. "She will return…"
