Krishnan Love Story director Shashank is directing Vijay for the first time in the film titled as Jarasandha which is being produced by Venkatesh, Gangadhar and Basavaraju who had earlier produced films like Shourya and Geleya. This film is an action thriller and Shashank who has so far done many message oriented social and youthful films is experimenting with an action film for the first time. The film will be launched on January 17 in Bengaluru. Glamorous Aindrita Ray who had already worked with Vijay in the super hit film Junglee is once again being paired with the actor in this film. Devaraj and Jackie fame Sampath are playing important roles in the film.
